#1:  Side mount tag holder & light on 1987 535 (SOLVED) Author: chasowen,  Posted: Wed Aug 18, 2010 1:01 pm Got another good deal on vertical side mount tag holder with Model A light. Only 2 wires, so I guess I have to ground it to the frame. My question is where to mount the sucker. If to the axle, I am afraid there will not be enough space to squeeze cotter pin back in without finding a shorter axle collet. Anyone try the lower shock mount? If the vertical tag mount is powdercoated get it down to bare metal on the mounting point for the light and for the whole mount where it attaches to the bike. That would be your ground... at least that's how it worked for me.
