The stock position of the
back turn signals make it really hard to install or use/open your medium
to big size saddlebags. The common solution to this issue is to relocate the back signals just behind the license bracket to get them out of the way. There are available several inexpensive aftermarket brackets that will do this job for you. However, if you have access to a stock front signal's bracket you might get to do this without spending a penny!.... Since a picture is better than a thousand words.... I'm just gonna leave it to the graphics.... Notes: - You will need extension wires (about 12"). I made the extensions using double audio wires and bullet connectors. - You can route the extension wires the same route as the taillight wires... No need to drill your fender!! -This job is completely reversible... even the front signal bracket could be replaced at the front again if needed. - Credits: http://home.earthlink.net/~ridevirago/signals.htm |
