I just picked the bike up a few weeks ago it has some fuel problems. I am in search of the diaphragm which is located at the rear of fuel switch. Taiyo Giken is stamped on the casting housing. Also have a bugered up fuel bowl drain screw. Suppose I will have to buy another carb to get one of those. Carb is the Hitachi HSC40. If you know of used parts let me know.

Howdy Moose. Welcome to VT.

some of the carb rebuild kits have new drain screws in them (at least the K&L kits I got did).
if your thinking of rebuilding, you may get a 2fer. naughty

Thanks you guys rock! I am looking up the Kawasaki part now. I did order the K&L Carb rebuild kits and if it comes with the Float bowl drain screws I will drill and easy out the old one.

Seems using the drains are the best way to set float bowl fuel volumes.

All though I am always on Vacations lately I think I finally set that correct. Thanks for all your help. As soon as I hunt down the diaphragm for the fuel switch I will mark this as solved.

Mark this file "Solved", just ordered my diaphragm.

After I rebuild the carbs, throw a couple new manifold boots on I should be back on the road..
