#1:  535 Starter Clutch Video Install (6 Vids) STARTED UP! Author: American XV535 1996,  Posted: Sun May 17, 2009 10:01 pm After recieving the Wrong year CDI Rotor from a salvage yard online, I ended up having to tear my recent starter clutch replacement/repair all back down and reinstall using my original Rotor. I made 5 vids and put on youtube on installing it and the starter clutch, nothing fancy but hope it helps another 535 owner facing a starter clutch repair. A Yamaha dealer wants about $600.00 for the starter clutch repair and a tune-up so doing it yourself can save you a fair amount of your CASH. Its not real hard to install, you can do it. VX535 starter clutch install-1of 5 VX535 starter clutch install 2 of 5 VX535 starter clutch install 3 of 5 VX535 starter clutch install 4 of 5 VX535 starter clutch install 5 of 5 I hope this helps someone with their starter clutch repair, keep in mind, New cam and New to uploading youtube vids, hopefully they will get better as I make more. Mainly just for the sound though on this one. :grin:

Any tips/thoughts from your experience? Same thing happened to my bike, just wondering how widely distributed through the engine the bits are and how to be 100% sure they're all gone.
