10 quick checks

here are 10 really good tips for new riders and crusty veterans as well for trouble shooting your bikes' pms...

1. check your fuses
2. check your sparkplugs
3. check that the carburetor vent tubes are unrestricted
4. check your air cleaner
5. check your battery connections
6. make sure that your battery is fully charged and that the negative terminal is grounded to the steel frame of the motorcycle
7. check your intake manifolds and hoses for
vacuum leaks and restrictions
8. check your fuel filter
9. check to see that the throttle cable is opening the
throttle all the way open and the choke is actually closed in the closed position
10. check to see that your petcocks are shutting off properly when the engine is not running
